I'm the girl behind the camera.
My name is Kya Spalding, and I am a photographer based in Longview, TX. I bought my first camera in 2020, and I never stopped taking photos of the people around me!
My favorite part about East Texas is the people; the people really make the place for me! Photography is my creative outlet, but it is also a way to get to know the ETX community better.
FUN FACTS.
✦ I got engaged at the Grand Canyon.
My husband, Joseph, proposed to me at the south rim over the winter of '21, and we got married in the summer of '22.
✦ I've been a barista for almost 3 years.
My go-to drink to make on bar is an iced honey cinnamon cappuccino.
✦ MY DREAM IS TO LIVE TINY.
Ever since I was about 16, I have wanted to build my own tiny home, and recently I have wanted to renovate a school bus!
